Small art. Big impact.

Alcove Art began in 2017 as a side project after owner Gill became a carer for her elderly father. Eight years on, we've moved across the Irish Sea and are now based in County Cork, in a little Townland known as Tooreennaguppoge, loosely translated as "land of the dock leaves". 

The premise behind Alcove Art has always been that we source and sell tiny art. Our signature collection is Norfolk-based sculptor David Meredith's Bonsai Bronzes, which were originally designed to be a complement to a friend's magnificient bonsai tree collection. The Bonsai Bronze range consists of over 60 wonderfully diminutive wildlife and botanical sculptures, foundry-cast and finished by hand in Thailand, and supplied to galleries all over the UK. We are the only place in Ireland (and, at the time of writing, in the whole of Europe) that you can find these little beauties for sale.

At Alcove Art you can also discover a small but beautiful selection of handcrafted ceramics and glass, and a range of quirky home decorations that bring character to any space. We curate our collections carefully so that we can offer an eclectic mix of craft styles at a range of prices to suit all of our lovely customers.
